Marion-Polk County Medical Society (MPMED)
The Marion-Polk County Medical Society was established in 1870 and is located in the midst of the beautiful Willamette Valley in Salem, Oregon. Membership is open to Medical Doctors (MD) and Doctors of Osteopathy (DO) who practice in Marion and Polk counties. In addition, retired physicians as well as practicing Physician Assistants are eligible for membership.
The Marion-Polk County Medical Society is a proactive advocate of physician and patient rights in both public and private sectors. The Society serves physicians and their patients by promoting ethical, educational and clinical standards for the medical profession.
Physicians Medical Management Services (PMMSC)
PMMSC is a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary corporation of the Marion-Polk County Medical Society. It provides services to members as well as non-members throughout Marion and Polk counties. Included in the services offered are a personnel staffing service and advertising opportunities.
MDL Employment Service provides temporary and permanent employees to medical, dental and legal offices. Employees are available for full-time or part-time positions to meet short-term and long-term employer needs.
Advertising opportunities are available in several publications that include the annual Physician Directory, Physician Spouse Directory, Physician Relocation Guide, our monthly Newsletter ChartNotes® as well as online through this website.
Medical Foundation of Marion & Polk Counties (MFMPC)
The Medical Foundation of Marion & Polk Counties supports the health of the community and actively endeavors to promote programs that advocate for the public health. The Medical Foundation of Marion & Polk Counties is committed to the collaborative efforts of all physicians as they seek to serve their patients.
The two major programs of the Medical Foundation are: MedAssist, a prescription assistance program for eligible seniors and low-income individuals/families; and scholarships for students entering the field of medicine.
